We seek to produce music for the church that is doctrinally sound, theologically rich, Christ exalting, and Cross centered. Our prayer is that these songs will equip, instruct and build up the local church.

 The Grandeur of God

In Psalm 139, David helps us to meditate on the grandeur, mercy, and wisdom of God. God's active and personal knowledge of His own should bring about great confidence and comfort in the midst of our wavering and unstable lives. Consider God, flee from insular thoughts that would seek to keep us captive; run to the grandeur of God.

Our sermon series, Living in Light of God: A Majestic View of the Almighty, was foundational to the creation of this song; particularly the sermon, Living in Light of God's Knowledge, which helps us to see how we are to live in light of the truth of God's grandeur in Psalm 139:1-6.

The Former Things

The phrase “the former things have passed and the new has come” is a theme that appears throughout scripture.

In Isaiah 42, it expects the already or soon to be fulfilled prophecies of Isaiah, and points with anticipation to the coming Messiah.

Paul, reminds believers, in 2 Corinthians 5:17, that in salvation, the old life, dreams, ambitions, approach to living, enslaved by sin has passed away. Believers are a new creation in Christ with Godward, eternal, spirit-driven lives of faith that are marked by works of righteousness.

But, not only is this phrased used to anticipate the advent of Christ and the outcome of his work on the cross in the gospel; it is forward looking. In Revelation 21:5, When the events of Revelation have closed, judgment is complete, and the unfolding victory of Christ is seen. God declares the future hope for all those in Christ, “Behold, I am making all things new.” We anticipate a time when all the former things of this earth, ravaged by sin, will be made new.

All of scripture has been an anticipation of the former things passing away and the new coming to pass.

Your Word Remains

Based on Psalm 19 -- God has revealed himself through creation and by His Word. It is through these means God has made himself known, and they inform our worship of Him. We exalt Him based on the whole of His creation, worship Him according to His sufficient and gracious Revelation, the Bible, and tell of His wondrous works in creation and the Word to all peoples who are in dersperate need of Him.
