Summit Woods Baptist Church is dedicated to helping parents disciple their children to Magnify God by Making Disciples of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Mornings

Children's Sunday School meets from 9 to 10am, during the Adult Equipping Class hour. This is an exciting time for children to be taught the Bible from cover to cover. We utilize a biblically sound curriculum called Generations of Grace. You can find out more here. There are age-appropriate Sunday School classes for all children from age 3 through 5th grade. Our teachers love God and the opportunity to share God's Word with children.

Our worship gathering begins at 10:30 am. Preschoolers and young children begin the service with their families in the main sanctuary. At approximately 11:00 am, during the final song, children are dismissed for Truth for Kids (T4K). There are 3 classes: pre-k, K-2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade. During this time children are taught systematic theology at their level by caring and loving teachers in a very interactive environment. Our pre-k class utilizes this material by Truth78, and K-5th grade use this material by Grace Community Church.

Our nursery offers childcare services for newborns through age 2, with three separate rooms divided by age. In these classes, kids can sing, dance, and play together under the supervision of loving teachers. Each week the teachers read a Bible lesson to the kids to further introduce the word of God to these young ones. Nursery-aged children can be dropped off at the beginning of the adult Equipping Class hour and picked up after the morning Worship Gathering.
