Intentionally Act
- Re-read the passages given in the previous post.
- Reflect on Paul's desire for the Corinthian church and explain how that aligns with God's character in the Old and New Testament in relationship to our giving and worship of Him.
- Pray for our body to gain a right understanding of God concerning giving, not for the purpose of some giving campaign, but for our hearts to deepen in their knowledge of who God is and who we are as His created beings, fallen and redeemed.
- Consider how this attitude of giving based on the Old Testament would change your heart in daily matters of life, in worship, caring for one another in the church, and as you go out among the world.
