Intentionally Act
- Think through how you would explain the birth of Jesus to an unbelieving friend, family member, or co-worker using this passage. Pray that God would give you the desire and opportunity to share the truth contained here.
- Think through how you could use this passage to encourage a discouraged brother or sister in Christ. Look for an opportunity to engage that person with the hope contained in this passage.
- Pray that the Lord would soften your heart and the hearts of others to truths already known, like the Christmas story. Pray that God would give us fresh insight and zeal to pursue humble obedience to our Savior.
- Pray that God would use the preaching of his Word to save and sanctify this Christmas season.
