Intentionally Act
- Read Genesis 36 again. Consider the faithfulness of God to his people on display in this chapter.
- Consider the wisdom of God in his providence to orchestrate these events for his people’s good.
- Consider the results of Esau’s folly on display in this chapter. What repentance should occur in your life so that you do not follow his example?
- Would you be happy to have what Esau had: good land, family, physical prosperity (wealth, livestock, power), and even a kingdom? Why is this bankrupt? Search your heart for the sinful desires for these things. What should you pursue instead?
