Prepare your heart for our Sunday Morning Gathering by looking through these suggestions that will assist you in making the most of our time together.

You will find tangible suggestions for putting scripture to action in your personal life and in our corporate body, links to the songs we will sing, and lyrics for you to prepare for our corporate singing.

Intentionally Act

  • If you are a child, in what ways are you not honoring and obeying your parents? Confess to God and your parents the ways you are falling short of living out your role as a child.
  • If you are a parent, in what ways are you provoking your children to anger or not bringing them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord? Confess to God and your children the ways your are falling short of living out your role as a parent.
  • If you are a child, what is one area of your life that you can strive for more obedience to your parents this week? Seek to live this way.
  • If you are a parent, what is one way that you can strive to bring your children up in discipline and instruction of the Lord? Seek to live this way.
  • Spend some time thanking God for the family, parents, and children he has given you. Be sure to thank God for your spiritual family as well!
