Elder's Prayer

Please find below the notes from the Elder's Prayer this past Sunday.

Father, we come humbly before you today with thankful hearts because you have shown to us the glory of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ

He came to dwell among us and to die for our curse and in doing so became our joy forevermore

You make glad the souls of Your servants,
You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.

You hear our prayers and supplications!
When we are troubled, we can call upon You,
And in Your wisdom, you answer us.

There is no one like You, O Lord,
Nor are there any works like Yours.

All nations whom You have made shall one day come and worship before You, O Lord, and they shall glorify Your name.
For You are great and do wondrous deeds;
You alone are God.

Teach us Your ways, O Lord;
Help us to walk in Your truth;
Unite our hearts to fear Your name.
We give thanks to You, O Lord our God, with all our heart,
And will glorify Your name forever.

For Your lovingkindness toward each of us is great,
And You have delivered our souls
Grant us Your strength that we may serve you throughout our days
We pray these things in Christ’s Holy name-Amen.
