Please find below the notes from the Elder's Prayer this past Sunday.

Heavenly Father,

We stand enthralled at your love that reaches to the heavens and your faithfulness to the skies (Psalm 36:5).

O LORD God of Hosts, who is like you, O mighty LORD? Your faithfulness surrounds you (Psalm 89:8)

We humbly thank you Father for your faithfulness is also our shield and Bulwark. (Psalm 91:4)

We praise you for you are a Faithful God who helps us to endure through our temptations (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We thank you that you are faithful and just to forgive our sins when we confess and repent of our sins (1 John 1:9).

We praise you that you can never be anything other than faithful, even when we turn faithless to our dismay (2 Timothy 2:13).

Our Holy God, Great is your faithfulness indeed. Father, we are reminded that if not for your great love, we would have been consumed in your wrath. We praise you for your unfailing compassions which are new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Faithful God, thank you for calling us into fellowship with you through your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:9).

Eternal King of Kings, in accordance with your faithfulness, please strengthen us and protect us from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Father God, may the fruit of the Spirit - faithfulness be consistently produced in us (Galatians 5:22-23) and may we be found faithful when we stand in your presence (Matthew 25:21)

Please help us to hold fast to the hope in Christ Jesus, for you our faithful God is a promise keeper (Hebrews 10:23).

Please help us to continually put to death the deeds of the body that we might live by the Spirit (Romans 8:13).

Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, for interceding for us that we might remain in you (Romans 8:34). In your name we pray, Amen.
