Elder's Prayer

Please find below the notes from the Elder's Prayer this past Sunday.

Father there is much about your Cross we can’t possibly comprehend, but we know this, when Your perfect holy Son died on that cross, He took the penalty of sin reserved for us and it is by His blood, that our sins have been washed away.

We are reminded of this every time we hear professions of faith and share in the privilege of witnessing the baptism of those who’ve become members of Your body.

It is through Your perfect sacrifice that we are brought near to You and by which we experience your mercy, kindness and glorious grace.

May Cliff and Diane and each of us who are members of this body remain steadfastly entrenched in the truth of the gospel at all times and never allow ourselves to be moved from there.

In life and for eternity, may we worship You and give thanks as we continually receive the riches of Your glorious grace.

In You Son’s name we pray, Amen.
