Please find below the notes from the Elder's Prayer this past Sunday.

Father, once again we give thanks as we see yet another brother in Christ profess his faith in our Lord through baptism 

We thank you for the work of your word and Spirit in Timo’s life in enabling him to turn away from sin and turn to you as Lord and Savior  

In his testimony we are reminded of the power you have to transform each of our hearts.  

We are reminded that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us and we are justified by his blood-saved from the wrath of God 

And not only that, you made us dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.  

Sin no longer reigns in our mortal bodies-we have been set free from sin and have become your willing slaves-now and for eternity  

We pray for Timo-we pray for each one of us, because of the work you have begun in us through Christ-we would run with endurance the race that you set before each of us-always looking to Jesus the founder and perfecter of our faith
