Please find below the notes from the Elder's Prayer this past Sunday.

Father how grateful we are for the transforming power of the gospel in the lives of each of us who, by your grace, havebelieved andbeen given new life in Christ.

It is by your Spirit thatthat our eyes have been opened to the truth of Your Word-resulting in faith in your Son.

We rejoice in seeing that faith proclaimed through the obedient act of baptism demonstrating our union with Christ in death and in his resurrected life.

I pray for Benjamin and Sadie-I pray for each of us-that we would walk daily in the newness of life you’ve given us in Christ-

and by your power we would guard our hearts against the evils of temptation that we all face.

It is from our hearts that the springs of life flow and it is with our lives that we honor you as we increasingly walk in obedience and humble submission to You.

Help us to guard our hearts and help us to glorify your name with our lives-it is in Christ’s name we pray-Amen
