GSM Fall Retreat 2024

Dates: Friday, November 1 - Sunday, November 3, 2024
Who: 9th - 12th grade students
Where: Heartland Retreat Center in Parkville, MO
Cost: $125 per student
Leaving: We will meet at SWBC @ 6:00pm to load up and leave having already ate dinner.
Arriving: We will arrive back to SWBC around 12:30pm on Sunday.
Transportation: GSM Leaders will be providing transportation in personal vehicles
Warning: Pairing off, separating from the group or any inappropriate behavior will result in a call to parents to come pick up student immediately with no exceptions.

A few packing list reminders:
-Please 1 travel sized bag per student (packing space is somewhat limited)
-Leave all electronic devices at home (including but not limited to cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
-Bring physical Bible, journal if desired (we will have a notebook for notes), pen
-Bring snacks if desired (we will provide plenty)
-Bring frisbees/footballs/soccer balls/board games/etc. that can be used during free time
-Bring a towel for showering, they are not provided
-Shower shoes
-Bedding- sleeping bag or sheets and a blanket and pillow – no bedding is provided, just bunk beds
-Deodorant
-Deodorant
-Deodorant
-Toiletries (shampoo, tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant, etc.)
-Modest, warm, and comfortable clothing (we will have some games outside)
-Tennis shoes (an extra pair may be a good idea)
-Leave all weapons/knives at home
