Yours is the Kingdom & But God

Sunday evening, the worship team will introduce 2 new songs for our corporate gatherings.  Over the next few months, these songs will be incorporated into our song selections.  As each song is introduced, a blog post will be posted with lyrics, links to purchase and view the song, and a brief synopsis.  We hope these resources will not only assist our gatherings, but can serve to assist your family or Growth Group in singing together.  We are greatly looking forward to expanding our music library, and the growth of our corporate, small group, family, and personal singing.

Lyrics

Yours is the Kingdom and the power
And the glory forever is Yours
Heaven and earth bow down
In the wonder of Your Name

Heaven is open, death is broken
And the glory forever is Yours
Nothing can overcome
The power of Your Name

King above kings
All the universe will sing
Everlasting God
You are wonderful
You are wonderful

And the shout of the earth
Will be Your praise
God forever
And the light unto all

Will be Your wonderful name
For the glory Lord is Yours
God forever
All the glory Lord is Yours

Lyrics

Verse 1
Oh how great the weight of sin that lured my wicked soul
Bound with chains and numb to every hope
Oh how vast the void of love, the darkness of despair
My hell bound home assured

Chorus 1
But God rich in mercy made a way
By grace I have been saved
Through faith I have been raised
Only by the blood of Christ

Verse 2
Oh how great the sacrifice the Father made for me
Freedom flowing from the battered King
Oh how vast the love of God
But still my soul it wars, against the powers of dark

Chorus 2
But God rich in mercy made a way
By grace I have been saved
Through faith I have been raised
Only by the blood of Christ

Bridge
We were called from the dark
But now we stand in glory's light
Jesus Savior King
