Church, it felt really good to get back into Matthew this past Sunday. If you were not able to attend OR you would like to hear it again, please listen to the sermon online (Click here for the sermon).

Pastor Bret gave an overview of Matthew 24 - 25 to get us back in the context of Matthew’s letter. He spent a great deal of time before the overview preparing our hearts with the wonderful truth of the power and hope that is found in expecting Jesus second coming.

He actually assigned homework for us to review the verses he referenced in the numerous ways the second coming is so very helpful to us in the church. Review your sermon notes (and the sermon audio) for those references and think through how you find your hope and sanctification in the second coming.

If you find yourself new to “end times” talk or “eschatology” as the theologians like to call it; OR you are a seasoned veteran, you will find it very helpful to gain a Biblical perspective on the material we are about ready to dig through in the coming weeks (and months).

Challenge yourselves this week to look at your current life situations and see how the return of Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, impacts you dailiy.
