- Spend time praying together
- Health
- Pray for Nancy Brandell with a recent diagnosis of breast cancer. Her physicians believe it was caught early, but want to complete more testing before making a full determination of her diagnosis and prognosis, as well as the best treatment plan. Please pray for Nancy’s continued trust in her Lord, as well as wisdom for her physicians as they care for her.
- Pray for Mark and Ann Gray. His new childhood immunizations are not becoming effective, which is unusual. Pray the Lord would work here. Also, pray for Mark and Ann to have patience with waiting on the Lord and continue to give Him the glory in this trial.
- Pray Matt Arnold’s skin continues to heal from his recent hospitalization.
- Pray for Sherry Mason with suffering from long-term illness and inflammatory issues. Seek to encourage and pray Sherry will endure dependently on the Lord in her health trials.
- Pray for Otis and Ann Sisson. Ann is experiencing dementia and Otis cares for her. Seek to encourage Otis through these trials and look for tangible ways to serve Ann and him.
- Health
- Family
- Pray for Hailey Vansell’s niece, Lydia, who is in the hospital from a bad car accident on Thursday. She is still at the hospital, but she’s out of the ICU now. They are waiting for her to be approved for and transferred to a pediatric in-patient rehabilitation place.
- Pray for Elizabeth Clevenger and her family. Her dad continues to be in remission, praise God! He is doing physical, occupational, speech, and neuropathy therapy several times a week and continues to steadily improve. Please pray: 1) his body would continue to tolerate his current treatment until Summer 2025 when he will be fully done with treatment if the cancer does not return; 2) for a full physiological recovery from the cancer’s impact, especially on his right hand and right side of his face; 3) my parents as they work on their primary responsibilities in between all the therapies (Mom on selling grandpa’s house and Dad on ministry obligations).
- Pray for Carole McGee’s brother-in-law, John, who had his appendix removed and is being tested for cancer. His wife, Debbie, (Carole’s sister) also continues to battle health issues. They are evaluating John and Debbie’s home care options – pray for wisdom here. Pray also for the salvation of Valerie’s husband and daughter – and that the McGee family will share and live out the gospel with them. Pray also for Carole’s stepfather, Richard, who is battling Parkinson’s. His health is continuing to decline. Pray Richard and his family would continue to trust the Lord in these trials.
INTENTIONALLY ACT
- Consider whether your response to the Word is marked by eagerness. If not, what has kept you from responding in such a way?
- Pray that God will help you to eagerly hear the Word preached and study it for yourself. Pray that He would give you a hunger for the Scriptures.
