- Read 1 Thessalonians 4:1-2 again.
- How do you receive instruction from God’s word? How do you receive the preaching and explanation of God’s word?
- Are you satisfied with your level of obedience to the Lord or do you sense the exhortation to “excel still more”? Is there a specific command from Scripture you’re being convicted about?
- Consider how you could use this passage to encourage another believer or in your witness to someone who doesn’t know the Lord. Make plans to do so.
