• From where do the witnesses derive their authority?
• How long is twelve hundred and sixty days?
• How are the witnesses protected during their ministry?
• Describe the power that will accompany the two witnesses.
• What prophets from the scripture are these witnesses like?

Prayerfully Meditate

• What does the coming of the witnesses in the midst of opposition tell us about God?
• What does sackcloth signify? What does this tell us about the nature of the witnesses ministry?
• Read Zechariah 4. What images stand out to you from this OT Passage?
• How does Zechariah 4 shed light on the images in Revelation 11:4?
• Are these two witnesses real people or are they symbols for something else? Support you answer from the text.

• How does this passage give you confidence in God's sovereignty over the end times?
• How can you pray in light of this passage?
• How would you explain what we have been learning in Revelation to an unbelieving friend/neighbor/relative? Think of those you may have opportunity to interact with in the next weeks during the holiday season.
