Our Resurrection Weekend services begin with our Good Friday Evening Gathering, March 29 at 7:00 pm, and conclude with our regular Sunday activities on Resurrection Sunday Morning, March 31!

Carefully Think

  • Read Matthew 22:15-22
  • How do you engage those who want to discuss Christianity with malice?
  •  What does rendering to Ceaser and rendering to God look like for us in the church today?
  •  What are issues where the church at large today may be testing God?
  • In what ways can flattery be dangerous?

Prayerfully Meditate

  • Pray that God would help us to understand the nuanced relationship we have with worldly kingdoms.
  • Ask God to help us in fulfilling our duties both to the state and to Him.
  • Pray for Christians around the world as they interact with many different governments.

Intentionally Act

  • Pray for God's work in the hearts of specific people with whom you have been communicating the gospel.
  • Consider ways to faithfully live out both our citizenship in the Heavenly kingdom and as citizens of this country.
  • Encourage other Christians around you, throughout the week, of the eternal hope we have in Christ.
  • Pray for non-Christians to be convicted of their need of Christ this Sunday. Pray that Christians will be fruitful in their application of the intent of this passage.
  • Pray for those who will be leading the service this week: Joel Conrad, music; Todd Arnold, Elders' prayer and Scripture reading; Bret Capranica, teaching. Pray for protection of their hearts and for their families as the lead us corporately in worship.
  • Listen to the music we will be singing on Sunday; think on how corrupt your heart is and how often we are grumbling against the Lord during the week. Let the lyrics replace that grumbling in the week and guide your heart to contentment in your circumstances and prepare you for worshipping our King together.
