Back in 2013 Tom Green, along with some former members of Summit Woods, started minsitering with a Sunday service at Addington Place, a senior living center just down the road from our church. He was later asked if he would lead a Bible study once a week on Mondays. He did that until 2019, when a couple of men volunteered to take over leading the ministry. Tom continues to come, and he teaches on occasion. His heart for senior ministry is very evident in his faithful service to them.

There is now a growing ministry at two senior living centers here very close to our church building. The one closest is called Addington Place. The other is across the highway called Princeton Senior Living. Every Monday at Addington and every Tuesday at Princeton there is an opportunity to lead a Bible study and teach God's Word. We sing and then there will be about 30 minutes of teaching. Last year we studied the book of Exodus, and we are currently working our way through the book of Mark.

Along with the rotation of men who teach, we also have several Summit Woods members who are women that are coming and engaging in conversations with the residence of these facilities.

Our desire is always to share of our hope in Christ, present the Gospel, and be available if they want to engage more personally.
