Please find below Todd's notes from the Mid-service comments this past Sunday. Think through these comments and read the scriptures we have been drawn to. Meditate on the word and examine your heart and pray for us to come together as one body under the authority of Scripture.

Colossians 4:5-6.  Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

Father thank you for the privilege we have as your ambassadors on this earth, to pray for each other and for gospel opportunities with the lost you have sovereignly placed in each one of our lives.

Father, help us to live our lives in a way that’s keeping with your wisdom, to immerse ourselves in your Word, in your Gospel, so that we will be able to clearly tell others how they can be  reconciled to you.

Father help us to take advantage of every opportunity you give us to share the gospel, and when you give us the opportunity, help us Lord to be mindful of how we speak to the lost.

You tell us that it is to be always gracious and seasoned with salt, help us to have a tone that is pleasant, Father may our speech be filled with compassion. Christ, we want to honor you in the way we speak to the lost.

Lord may your Word dwell in us richly! So as we go about our daily lives we will be able to display our love for you as we share your Gospel with those you placed in our lives.

In Jesus Christ name we pray Amen.
