Father God, 

We praise you that you are the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  

Father, you are the source of our unending strength. Please help us to trust in your promise for strength, always to wait upon you, rely on you to draw strength from you to live our lives unto the Lord.  

We thank you for your ever sufficient and ever-present grace and help.   

Father, we pray that you would bless us with discernment, love for the word of God and willingness to obey it without delay. 

We pray that our lifestyle would be dignified and would bring glory to God. Please help us to serve you and your people sacrificially, selflessly, and in Christlike manner. Please bless us with an undying love for you and your people. May we have a high standing in the society and great confidence in the faith that we might lead many unto Christ. 

Father, I beseech you for all of the believers gathered here today. 

Please keep us all in Christ to be above reproach till the end of our days by your purest grace.  

Please help the married men to remain the husband of one wife in their thoughts, attitudes and actions, and please help the married woman to be the wife of one husband in their thoughts, attitudes and actions. 

I pray for our dear men and women who are single. Please continue to keep them in you and through your word may they overcome the evil one by your grace consistently. We thank you and praise you for their exemplary love and zeal for the Lord. I also pray that if it is your will that you would have them be married, please bring the right person into their lives. As they wait upon you, please encourage them, build them up in Christ Jesus and use their sacrificial ministries for your glory. 

I pray that as your children, we will all be temperate, prudent, respectable, and hospitable imitating our Savior. Please help us to imitate Christ and sacrifice our time, talent and treasures for the glory of God. 

Our loving Chief Shepherd, please help us not to be addicted to or be filled with anything other than the Word of Christ.  

Please help us to be Christ-like in our responses to life’s situations and be gentle, peaceable and be free from the love of money. 

Please help us to seek first the kingdom of heaven, to manage our households and our lives well Biblically, and never be conceited but always boast abundantly in Christ. 

Please Jehovah, by your grace, may we always remain humble and receive grace from you.

Please help us to not be complacent and be satisfied with where we are but keep laboring in love to raise up the next generation of God’s people and leaders who would continue to bear witness to Christ and keep this local body of believers a beacon of light in Lee’s Summit and beyond. Be magnified! We pray this in the name of our loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
