Holy of Holies, 

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for your amazing love upon us. The Son of God who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him, our Lord Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:21). We thank you and praise you, Triune God. 

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for teaching us to surrender to the will of the Father and be obedient unto death in the Garden of Gethsemane. 

Thank you, Sinless Lamb of God, for teaching us to pray for the forgiveness of those who persecute us for they know not what they do. 

Please help us to never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Please help us to not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:17, 21).  

Father, may we not just be inspired and feel good by such magnanimous truths from your word, but may we trust in you, in your timing of the wrath of God to be poured upon the wicked. Vengeance has always been yours and you will repay. We praise you for that. 

We thank you for the examples of the Apostles of Jesus Christ. We marvel at their steadfastness and ability to rejoice and praising God that they were considered worthy to suffer for Christ. Please help us emulate such Christlike behaviors. 

Even as we share and fill up Christ’s afflictions in the ministry of the word, service unto you and each other, be glorified.  

Merciful God, we pray for our brothers and sisters who are going through persecution around the world because of their unshakable faith in you.  

We beg you Master that you would graciously grant them relief, healing and restoration. 

We pray for their persecutors to come to saving faith through the witness and the joy of the Lord that is evident in your children even as they are being persecuted. 

God our Father, while your children are being slaughtered for their faith, the false teachers and their so-called churches are leading millions and billions of souls away into hell. Many who have professed faith in Christ have made a shipwreck of their faith. Please have mercy on their souls. 

Please help us to keep contending for our holy faith and fiercely guard the treasure that has been entrusted to us through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us (2 Timothy 1:14). 

Please strengthen us to keep working as long as it is day (John 9:4). 

Father, we pray that if it be your will, we would be able to lead a tranquil and quite life in all godliness and dignity, all our lives, here in America and around the world (1 Timothy 2:2). 

We praise you Triune God for the persecution cannot shut doors of the gospel because your Holy Word is not bound (2 Timothy 2:9). The gates of hell shall never prevail against the Church (Matthew 16:18). May your holy word continue to be proclaimed in all the corners of the earth till Christ returns.  

Harvest is plenty, Almighty God, please send your servants. Please use these unworthy slaves of yours to that end for your glory.
