Father God, we thank you for the privilege of knowing you, being washed by the blood of the Lamb and being part of the body of Christ in the family of God.
Thank you for blessing us with various spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:7) that we might serve you and one another.
Please bless us with effective biblical in-person relationship ministry. Thank you for the model that the early Church set before us.
Father, we desire to take as many souls with us as possible into glory. Please help us to that end and be faithful to go and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Please teach us to see the work of God all around us, be motivated and energized by it like Apostle Paul was. Please help us to cultivate a constant godly gratitude for the body of Christ like the Apostles exhibited and yet may we never lose sight of our responsibilities.
Father, may we never live our lives beyond the accountability of the body of Christ.
Please protect us from being preoccupied with our selves. May our reasonableness and gentleness be known to all men for the Lord’s coming is at hand (Philippians 4:5)
Please help us to eagerly embrace the preached word of God like the first generation of Christians did in book of Acts.
Please bless us with ETERNAL AFFECTIONS that are God exalting.
Please help us to excel even more and grow in the essential priorities of Christianity.
Please help us to always be steadfast in our hope, labor in Christlike love and work in faith.
Please may our dependence on you through prayer not be seasonal but constant, consistent, persistent and comprehensive.
Please may our Christian lives be defined by excellence for the glory of God and not by mediocrity.
Please establish our footsteps in your word, and do not let any iniquity have dominion over us (Psalm 119:133).
Please help us to keep ourselves in the love of God even as you keep us from stumbling (Jude 24).
When we come and stand before your throne, may we be welcomed in your presence. May we hear you say, “well done faithful servant, enter into your Father’s Kingdom”.
We thank you with that all we are, that you graciously and regularly convict the world of sin us, love us more to discipline and restore us.
We thank you for your long suffering with us in pruning us and not cutting us down when we fail to bear fruits or bear it inconsistently or give the appearance of bearing fruits deceiving ourselves and others.
We are our own enemies, Father. Please help us to stay in the battle against our flesh till we take our last breadth and mortify sin by your grace with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we look forward to that day when we will never again be separated from Christ.
We bring these supplications before you in the name of our High Priest and our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
