Heavenly Father, 

We thank you for your every expression of love, mercy, kindness and grace. We praise you for your wisdom in the progressive revelation of your plans.  

We thank you for speaking to us in many portions and many ways long ago. We praise you for every instance of communication with us in the recorded Scriptures from walking and communing with Adam and Eve, direct conversations with Cain and Abel, Noah and Abraham, making covenants with the patriarchs, speaking through visions and dreams, through fire, cloud, thunder and nature, sending your heavenly messengers, and your Holy Spirit working through your children the priests, the prophets, your Apostles and in the last days, through your Holy Son – and all of that so that we the unworthy slaves of yours would be part of your family and know you as our Abba Father. We thank you, Father with all we are. 

We praise you God for writing down your commandments for us to obey. We praise you God for the unique work of Holy Spirit in every Biblical author’s mind, heart and spirit. We thank you for preserving your word unadulterated through the ages.  

We thank you for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ who was and is and forever will be your Word from above. 

We praise you Living God for your words reflect your timeless nature (Matthew 22:32; Mark 12:27; Luke 20:38). 

We praise you Eternal God for your words are eternal reflecting your eternal nature (Isaiah 40:8). 

We praise you God of Light for your words do drive out the darkness physically and spiritually (1 John 1:5; John 3:19-21; Revelation 21:23). 

We praise you Almighty God for your words shall never return void without accomplishing its intended purpose (Isaiah 55:11). 

We praise you Sovereign God for you alone can declare the end from the beginning and it shall come to pass without fail (Isaiah 46:10). 

We praise you God of Truth who cannot lie, for your word of truth alone can set us free (John 8:32). 

We praise you Holy of Holies for your word alone can sanctify us in the truth (John 17:17).

We praise you Jehovah Jireh, our Provider of the Sacrificial Lamb and thus the way of salvation by grace through faith as revealed only in your Living and Active Holy Word for your glory (Genesis 22:8; Hebrews 4:12; Ephesians 1-2).
