Sign up for VBS HERE. Vacation Bible School at Summit Woods Baptist Church is an intensive week to share the gospel with kids from SWBC and the community. The sign up deadline is June 30.

VBS is open to children from 3 years old through 6th grade, and includes music, crafts, outdoor adventure, and learning from God’s word, the Bible. VBS is July 10-14, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.

This event is a highlight each year for our Children's Ministry, and serves as a great outreach event for the families of Summit Woods.

Our theme for this year is The Amazing Mystery: Discovering the Mystery of the Gospel

Day 1: Discovering the God of the Gospel (Ex 34:6-7)

  • Memory Verse: “The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth” (Ex 34:6)

Day 2: Discovering the need for the gospel (Rom 3:9-20)

  • Memory Verse: “All have turned aside, together they have become useless; there is none who does good, there is not even one.” (Rom 3:12)

Day 3: Discovering the Christ of the gospel (Col 1:15-20)

  • Memory Verse: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth” (Col 1:15-16)

Day 4: Discovering the response to the gospel (Mark 1:15)

  • Memory Verse: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)

Day 5: Discovering the people of the gospel (1 Cor 1:2)

  • Memory Verse: “To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours” (1 Cor 1:2)
